Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetned cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter on medium heat in a saucepan.
- Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Mix in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder until well combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Spread the batter evenly onto the pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
P.S: For extra shiny crinkly top, beat the sugar + eggs for 3 mins before adding cocoa!
